The Chautauqua County Humane Society is teaming up with the Media One Group of Radio Stations and the Southern Tier Xpress for Santa Xpress Homes for the Holidays. From Black Friday through Saturday, Dec. 23, the Humane Society will be working together to make sure 100 animals make it to their new homes for the holidays.
“This is a great opportunity to find homes for 100 new animals,” said Brian Papalia, CCHS community relations director. “We invite everyone to stop down to the Chautauqua County Humane Society at 2825 Strunk Road and consider adopting. It’s a short stretch of time, but we believe with the spirit of the season we will be able to adopt more than 100.”
For an extra donation of just $25 some adopters will have the opportunity to have their new forever friend delivered to their home by a member of the Southern Tier Xpress and one of Santa’s Elves. The deliveries will take place during set hours of 3-7 p.m. on Dec. 22; and noon-4 p.m. on Dec. 23 or Dec. 24. Find out more information regarding the special deliveries at SPCAPETS.COM.
“These animals don’t want to be here at the shelter, let’s get 100 animals to their new homes this holiday season,” said Sue Bobek, animal services director.
