During the first period, Juliana opened the scoring for the Xpress with a goal at 3:40 with a helper from his teammate Crowley.
In the second, Pearson netted a goal at 0:31 with a helper from Gerace. Kesto finally put Wooster on the board with a goal at 18:58 with assists from Hillebrecht and Barney.
In the third, Allen answered for Southern Tier with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 8:21 with assists from Gerace and Lamison. Mock quickly followed with a goal at 9:45 with helpers from Wilcox and Zwieg. Kepple put in a goal at 12:54 with helpers from Mock and Juliana. Critzer quickly followed with a goal at 13:13 with assists from Barney and King.
The Xpress’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Pascarella’s big night as he stopped 29 of the 31 shots he faced. Pascarella’s counterpart, Gillis, also had a big night, managing to stop 34 of 39, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Southern Tier Xpress’ record to (15-21-0-0).
