In the second, Glavach answered for the Vengeance with a goal at 8:26 with assists from his linemates, Johns and Williams. Pearson answered for Southern Tier with a goal at 13:27 with helpers from his linemates, Lamison and Gerace. Mock scored a goal at 18:14 with assists from Grant and Crowley. Mock quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 18:48 with a helper from fellow Xpress forward Keller.
During the third, Kirk answered for Pittsburgh with a goal at 8:07 with assists from Unger and Rickabaugh. Johns netted a goal at 13:08 with a helper from defenseman White.
Southern Tier’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Pascarella as he stopped 23 of the 26 shots he faced. Pascarella’s counterpart, De Simone, also had a big night, managing to stop 25 of 29, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Southern Tier Xpress’ record to (18-22-0-0).
